The Vanderbilt Spine Center treats patients from Nashville, Tennessee and across the Southeast for back pain, sciatica, whiplash and other conditions of the spine. We offer a full range of treatments including non-surgical choices. If surgery is necessary, our team of doctors offers an extraordinary level of experience and expertise for each patient's needs.
Many doctors struggle with how to help patients with back or neck pain. This is especially true with patients who have had many kinds of treatment for an injury or condition such as early onset scoliosis but no improvement. The Vanderbilt Spine Center brings many specialists together in one place. This lets our doctors work together to create a personalized care plan for each patient.
Patients will begin their treatment at the Spine Center with one of our specialists, a non-surgical doctor. We'll review all previous X-rays, MRIs, surgeries and other important information. A patient may then go to one of our surgical specialists in neurosurgery or orthopaedics for further testing and discussion of surgery options such as minimally invasive or motion preserving spine surgery. For patients who don't need surgery, the doctor will discuss treatment options such as injections, medication and physical therapy.
Your well-being as our patient is our primary concern. Unlike any other spine center in the region, the Vanderbilt Spine Center maintains a robust registry of outcomes that tracks how our patients are doing, even years after surgery. We use this data to improve how we care for patients every day.
