PA Swisher was very helpful, thoughtful, and considerate. He had carefully reviewed my record and recommended a reasonable and phased plan. This was my second time working with him and would highly recommend him.

Dr. Swisher became very aggravated with me and raised his voice with me when I had some questions and then pushed back. Considering I'm 40 and all the sudden wheelchair bound, can't feel my right leg, and being told no one can help me although the hardware in my back is broken and recalled, I had questions and became emotional. When I questioned the different answers (hardware is broken, hardware is not broken, fusion was successful, fusion not successful, bulging disc, no bulging disc, etc) he became agitated and raised his voice rather than understanding the situation is scary. Ive been in the hospital for a month with different answers and honestly was just looking for a spine doctor with empathy who would listen to my concerns and we could work together to create a plan of treatment. Unfortunately this is not what k found today.
