Cynthia Allen, P.T., received her bachelor's in physical therapy from the University of Tennessee in 1997, where she graduated magna cum laude. Cynthias experience includes physical therapy in the acute, sub-acute, and outpatient settings. She spent several years in sports medicine and neurological rehabilitation before obtaining her Herdman certification for vestibular rehabilitation from Emory University in 2002. Cynthia has advanced training and experience in the treatment of neck, back, and extremity pain. She favors a comprehensive approach to manual therapy, utilizing Myofascial Release, Maitland, and McKenzie mobilizations among her treatment methods.
Cynthia believes her primary role as a physical therapist is to educate her patients and empower them to achieve their personal goals through movement.
