Health Psychology

Overview

The mission of the Health Psychology service at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt  is to provide support to individuals with chronic medical conditions who are actively engaged in interdisciplinary services. Specifically, we provide time-limited, goal-oriented and health-focused treatment.

Treatment Approach

Our team has broad training and is integrative in our approach, using a range of different treatment approaches. Approaches we commonly use include: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, clinical hypnosis, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused therapy.
