Dr. Austin Noah Kirschner was perhaps the kindest physician I've ever met--and I work with them daily! :)He thoroughly explained the radiation process and spent significant time with us, answering our questions, going beyond the question to really help us understand. He also successfully assisted us in deciding to have Vanderbilt provide radiation services versus my system in East TN. Without persuading us on Vanderbilt specifically. Then he rather painstakingly was able to accelerate an appointment at an ancillary location in Lebanon, TN as prep for upcoming radiation treatment--saving us a round trip and 10 hours of travel to and from our home. He also assisted us, through clinic staff, to schedule convenient treatment times for us. He is clearly an exception person and MD and we're blessed to be treated by him and his staff. I'm very confident in his services and Vanderbilt in general.

Dr Kirshner is absolutely wonderful and a professional in all regards. He has seen me through the past almost three difficult years with quality care and compassion.

It troubled me earlier in this questionnaire to say that it'd taken 20 minutes for Dr. Kirschner to come in. PLEASE BE CLEAR, this was the first time I've ever had to wait. I assume something urgent had occurred and slowed him down. I have absolutely no criticism of this good man. He is wonderful.
