The Vanderbilt Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Center is nationally recognized for patient education and support, clinical trials and lung transplantation.
Our center hosts a monthly IPF support group serving IPF patients and their families. Because of our coordinated care and world-class research, we see patients from Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Georgia.
Almost every phase 2 or 3 IPF study in the U.S. has been conducted at Vanderbilt. We have been among the top 5 enrollers in every IPF clinical trial to date. We are a member of the National Institutes of Health IPF network, an elite group of 11 nationally recognized IPF centers. We are one of only 3 IPF centers in the network that can evaluate patients for all treatment options, including transplant, at their first clinic visit.
Vanderbilt Pulmonary Diagnostic and Interventional Program
