The Vanderbilt Medical Weight Loss Program provides a comprehensive, evidence-based approach for achieving long-term weight loss. You’ll work with a team of caring experts who will help you develop a personalized weight loss plan combining medical, nutritional, exercise and psychological support. Together, we can help you reach your weight loss goals and live a healthy, vibrant life.
After conducting a comprehensive evaluation of your overall health, we tailor your weight loss plan to meet your unique needs and health goals. In addition to other resources, it might also include working with a registered dietitian and an exercise physiologist to develop a healthy diet plan and safe fitness program.
You can join the Vanderbilt Dayani Center for Health and Wellness (a medical fitness facility) for a reduced membership fee. As a member, you have access to a variety of classes and specialists to help you exercise safely on your own.
We offer ongoing support services to help you during your weight loss journey. Your care team will check in with you to see how you’re doing and to answer any questions. Also, if needed, you can schedule follow-up appointments with our registered dietitian and/or our exercise physiologist.
