Excellent interaction and exceptionally in line with my personal needs

Dr.Garner did not seem to care what I had to say. She talked about a book that helped you establish a mostly carnivorous anti-inflammatory diet. She said it was great for treating the symptoms of Autism among other things. Autism is not a disease that needs to be treated. I was very offended. It was also strange to hear her talk about how I should eat all the meat I want and that almost all bread is bad. I read that this clinic uses the plate method and she was nowhere near recommending that unless half the plate was meat. She compared an order of french fries to smoking 25 cigarettes in how bad they are for your body. It was weird. It was uncomfortable. I am considering asking for another provider for my next visit, but I still want to see the fellow of hers that did the intake.

The doctor went above and beyond. She was a fountain of knowledge. Caring and explained everything in detail.

Wonderful provider, VUMC is fortunate to have her. Very knowleagebble, kind, and updated with the current literature. Did not feel rushed, she took the time to explain and make sure everything was well addresed. Grateful for her guidance and care.

Laughed at me and judged me..was not comfortable with her

Enjoyed listening to Erica and her insight on helping me to continue losing my weight. She enlightened me on things that I had been told all my life that was bad for me. Like dairy and animal fats. Very optimistic about trying some of her recommendations.

Dr. Garner was amazing.. Informative, caring, compassionate. Didn't feel rushed and answered all my questions.
