We offer complete gynecology care:
We recognize that every pregnancy is unique. We begin by assessing your health and the health of your baby, then match you with a pregnancy care team of physicians, nurse practitioners and board-certified midwives. Your team will work closely with you throughout your pregnancy.
We offer many classes and support services to help you take an active, well-prepared role in your pregnancy and childbirth.
Your pregnancy may be considered high risk if it involves an existing medical condition, twins or multiple babies, or fetal birth defects. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, you can count on us for expert care and a supportive environment to help you give birth safely.
Our genetic counselors advise families expecting or considering having a baby at risk for birth defects or a genetic condition.
Vanderbilt’s midwife programs offer unique healthcare options for women throughout their lives. Our certified nurse-midwives provide pregnancy care and delivery, primary care, well-woman care (annual exams, Pap smears and breast exams), birth control, other gynecological services, and prenatal care.
Our Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is a leading regional center for reproductive care and fertility treatment. We treat complex reproductive problems such as amenorrhea, fibroids, infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss.
Gynecologic cancers (cancers that begin in your reproductive organs) require careful diagnosis and treatment. Our Gynecologic Oncology Program partners with the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center to provide advanced treatment for gynecologic cancers.
Our Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Program offers expert care for pelvic floor disorders, such as pelvic organ prolapse (vaginal bulge) and incontinence (difficulty with bladder or bowel control). Our program is led by the only fellowship-trained urogynecologists in Middle Tennessee.
