Resident Cosmetic Clinic

Overview

At Vanderbilt University Medical Center, we pride ourselves in our commitment to excellent patient care, research and innovation, and in educating our future surgeons. A part of that education includes our chief resident cosmetic clinic, where residents in their final year of plastic surgery training can perform cosmetic procedures under the supervision of one of our board-certified faculty plastic surgeons. Patients continue to receive the highest standard of care but at a more affordable cost.

Patients will undergo initial consultation in clinic, performed by one of our chief residents. At that visit, your options will be discussed and if appropriate, a price quote for services will be provided.

If you elect to proceed with surgery, this will be performed at one of the state-of-the-art facilities at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Your surgeon will be the same chief resident you met at your consultation, and he or she will be supervised by one of our board-certified plastic surgeons. All post-operative follow-up visits will be in the resident clinic.
