Neck lift

Overview

Many factors, including heredity, gravity, environmental conditions and stress, can cause a shift in the contours of the face. As some may be pleased with the look of the upper face and not desire a full facelift, a necklift can address excessive wrinkling of the neck skin, a double chin or jowl lines.

A neck lift, or lower rhytidectomy, can enhance the look of the jawline and neck by removing excess fat and relaxing the skin in the lower face that creates jowls, removing excess fatty deposits under the chin, tightening neck skin and banding muscles in the neck to normalize contours.
