Very kind and compassionate DrVery thorough

While talking with Dr. Serie, she didn't seem very concerned about my medical history and concerns. Labs were drawn, and she made it seem like my lab results were not a big deal. She said that they weren't low/critical enough to be of a concern, even though I verbalized that I was concerned about it. I had to ask about next steps and when the levels would be considered critical, and only then did she provide more detail, including what treatment would look like. She didn't offer for me to see someone who specializes in my diagnosis, and she said to just watch, wait, and see. Additionally, she said that she would check with a pharmacist about the possibility of a medication causing the issue; however, I told her multiple times that my diagnosis has been occurring for several years, and I just started the medication less than a couple of months ago. I didn't feel heard, and she seemed like she didn't care about me. I've been to multiple medical professionals in my life, and I've never felt more uncared for and unheard.

Dr Serie is excellent

I have been a patient of Dr. SERIE since 2008, and she has been a great provider. She is caring , compassionate, and very smart and skilled in Oncology Medicine.

Dr Serie is enjoying her 25th year as a doctor. She has found her calling and it's a great fit. Vanderbilt did an outstanding job of talent recruitment.

During my visit with Dr. Serie she explained in detail my current medical issues. Dr. Serie is a warm, wonderful and caring person who explains all blood work and medical tests and always asks if I have any questions or concerns.
