Many of my questions were answered in advance by a video and other materials provided. Doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful, however personal contact was extremely limited-a few minutes just before surgery and the failed video conference - turned phone call. Time from appointment booking to visit with nurse practitioner was 6 weeks and then at least another month to a procedure without any physician contact was anxiety provoking. I basically knew cancer was a likely diagnosis, and did not know if I should be concerned that things were moving so slowly-and I could have benefited from some earlier contact to answer questions and give me perspective. That said, I now have confidence in my level of care. The 3 months prior to the procedure was anxiety provoking, though.
