I had an unusual emergency reaction to cataract surgery-losing sight! A retina specials missed diagnosed me- many test- worry of cancer- just akot of specialists not knowing- until Dr Lee diagnosed my condition and took it and me under his care. To me the VU Eye Institutes is most knowledgable and expert.

Did not carefully and fully explain his proposed operation. Was critical of the opinion my primary eye care provided on the need for an operation. Would not spend time answering my questions, I am dubious of his recommendation for an operation.

Not enough time spent with provider. Very limited explanation of how my eyes are progressing and possible outcomes. No discussion of possible treatments. The provider needs to spend more time with patients. Maybe spent 5 minutes with me.

It was quite obvious that Dr Kim had treated a lot of cases like, the type of rare problem I have, with my eyes.He was confident that I should be okay if I do my part and follow up on it. I liked him.Gave me hope and lifted me up emotionally

Wonderful experience with very nice knowledgeable doctor

After sharing an episode about my eyes, Dr. Kim realized it was probably a TIA and contacted my primary doctor. He asked me ore questions about what I had experienced and then explained what he was meant by that type of TIA and what probably would happen next for medical care of it. My primary followed up with me.

Dr Kim is the best explaining everything and a very professional Doctor.
