I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cherney! He is always great about explaining my condition and reviewing test and exam results with me. He Is receptive and responsive to my questions and concerns. I've had the opportunity to observe him working with fellows and students, and he seems to be an excellent teacher in addition to being an exemplary physician.

I had 2 physicians. Dr. Cherney came in last, the first doctor was a young man with glasses, tall with dark skin and he did the bulk of the exam. It was a very difficult exam with a very bright light and what he called massage...it was not a massage:-)... That exam was especially difficult as I have some claustrophobia and ptsd with doctor visits that I never talk about. However, this young man was quick, polite, very professional , and efficient. He paused when I needed to breath, he encouraged me that I was doing great. He was reassuring and I'm very glad he was the one doing my exam. I felt as if he scenes my stress and difficulties and paused or encouraged at exactly the right moments. He was very intuitive and I appreciated this. My second doctor was doctor Cherney he was very kind and professional. He assured me my issues were age related and not to be overly worried about the large floaters and told me what yo watch for . All in all the whole experience was as pleasant as it could be.
