Dr. Barocas is the very best! He and his staff have been so very kind and compassionate in treating my bilateral renal cell carcinoma. He has always taken time to answer any and all of our questions with honesty while extending a gentle comfort to not only me, but my wife as well. He is a great doctor and even kinder person.

Dr. Barocas saved my life! From the gurney in the OR, when he placed his hand beside me and said, I'm going to be with you all the way to the times he has called my cell phone to let me know he's looked at my results, thus giving me another chance to ask questions and voice concerns-he has truly been with me all the way. I am 4.5 years out from a devastating collision tumor that required removal of my right kidney. Praise the Lord for using the skillful hands of Dr. Barocas to make me cancer-free. I have enjoyed watching my then four yo grandson grow up to play basketball and my then four month old granddaughter grow up to play flag football, the cutest little snapper in the world; I've got to enjoy my then 71 yo husband who amazingly with the help of our son, built us a beautiful home while I was in cancer treatment and I to be able to return full time to triage nursing since November 1, 2021. It's been an incredible journey! My husband, son, daughter-in-law, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren Peek-A-Boo and Snookums want to give a shout-out to Dr. Barocas and the amazing team who have made it possible for me to have a good life. Thank you, Dr. Barocas! I hope Vanderbilt will pay you richly for years to come!

Dr. Barocus's resident was very personable, informative and knowledgeable. He took time discussing treatment options and then took time to review and summarize all that was said. I. Never felt rushed. Dr. Barocus is the best for the same above reasons. His knowledge and calm approach are a welcomed approach for his patients.
