Our pediatric dermatology team works together with other pediatric specialties to evaluate and treat skin problems in children and teenagers, including uncommon ones.
We can evaluate moles using the latest technology, including confocal microscopy. In some cases, the results of a detailed evaluation may allow you to avoid surgery.
Our specialists treat hemangiomas, port-wine stains and other vascular malformations. The evaluation sometimes includes not only pediatric dermatology, but also pediatric specialists in ophthalmology, ear-nose-throat, cardiology, radiology and hematology. This team meets once a month to talk through patients’ treatment plans.
