Dr Boyd was wonderful!

Dr. Boyd left me incredibly shocked by the lack of options offered for my condition. The only solution presented was something I would not even be able to pursue for another 2-5 years. I left the appointment feeling disheartened and fighting back tears. After managing my skin concerns on my own for years, I finally sought out an experienced specialist hoping for guidance, a treatment plan, or some sense of hope, but left with none of those things.I was also disappointed by how my request for a skin cancer screening was handled. Given my significant family history of skin cancer, I felt it was a reasonable concern. Instead, I was made to feel as though I was being dramatic for seeking a skin check without having a specific lesion of concern.Overall, the visit felt dismissive and disappointing. I left without any new knowledge, treatment options, or a clear path forward for addressing my concerns.

Since it was my first appointment I would have liked for the doctor to spend more time, do a thorough assessment and not be so rushed.
