MyOncologyHealth for Employers
Personalized Support for a Challenging Journey
A cancer diagnosis can be scary and overwhelming. MyOncologyHealth is designed to relieve some of the burden and uncertainty for your employees and their families by offering education and expert support with a registered nurse for their journey.
Exceptional Care. Customized Education. Comforting Experience.
Employees who participate in MyOncologyHealth will receive access to personalized educational resources as well as a dedicated nurse navigator who will be by their side every step of the way. These services, aimed at boosting peace of mind and guiding individuals through the process, are available for the duration of their active treatment.
With MyOncologyHealth, you benefit from:
Peace of mind — This program makes an overwhelming situation more manageable for your employees. Whether responding emotionally to a diagnosis, gaining education about a diagnosis or successfully navigating care, we are there to ease stress and uncertainty.
A personal touch — To optimize positive outcomes, we offer personalized support geared to an individual’s needs. What’s most important to your employees is most important to us.
Maximized care — We ensure your employees are getting the highest level of care available. We will track each patient’s care plan, work closely with his or her clinical team and support the right next steps at the right time.
Concierge treatment — A dedicated oncology nurse navigator will work closely with your employees from their very first contact with the program, managing their care at every step of the process.
Caregiver support – We empower a close friend or family member to serve as a support person throughout treatment by updating this individual on the patient’s journey and providing resources that benefit both the patient and their caregiver.
How It Works
- An interested candidate speaks with one of our patient navigators, who confirms eligibility, explains the process and collects required information.
- Once administrative eligibility has been confirmed, the patient will be scheduled for an evaluation appointment with our clinical team.
- During initial contact with the oncology nurse navigator, we will personalize our approach based on the individual’s preferences and specific needs, both clinical and non-clinical, such as transportation.
- If a patient designates a support person (a close friend or family member) for his or her journey, we will keep this individual informed throughout the process and provide helpful resources along the way.
- We work closely with each patient and his or her clinical team, including facilitation of timely referrals, such as mental health services.
- This support is available for the duration of a patient’s treatment. Once a patient is no longer being actively treated, the program concludes.
