The Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center has served Middle Tennessee and beyond since 1951. We diagnose and treat hearing, speech, language and cognitive problems that affect communication in adults and children. Our team of more than 100 experts includes audiologists, speech-language pathologists, teachers of the deaf, occupational therapists, physical therapists and social workers. We offer every patient compassionate, personalized care. Additionally, Bill Wilkerson is a teaching site for deaf educators, audiologists, speech-language pathologists and physical therapists.
Bill Wilkerson Center was one of the first centers in the country to treat communication disorders. This makes us uniquely qualified to evaluate your hearing and communication problems and prescribe treatment options.
Our audiologists and speech-language pathologists are board certified and hold certificates of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). As leading experts, they work with you, your primary care provider and other specialists to integrate and coordinate your care, including referrals.
Vanderbilt is consistently ranked among the nation’s best by leading authorities on healthcare quality. People from throughout the Southeast and across the country rely on us for the best and most innovative care possible.
