The Doctor was concerned about my health and helpful

Just fired him from my care team at VUMC. I know my body as well as what Rx worked and what doesn't work and I'm not going to see a medical provider who won't listen to my needs or the past trial & errors I've dealt with in the past as well as what works the best and what doesn't work or causes severe side effects like increased headaches, dizziness, Rash on my arms, chest, & face, night terrors etc as well stated: I don't want to give medications then writes a Rx that causes Rashes, night terrors, increased dizziness, increased headaches, and makes me feel hungover till 6pm only to take again at 10pm and go thru the exact same side effects the next day. We're not a good fit so I fired him

Disregarded my concerns.

The doctor was extremely helpful and explained my condition in detail. I never felt hurried. He explained everything in a way I could easily understand not having a medical background. I felt I had the best care possible.

I am so thankful for Dr. Tarpara. During our first visit, he told me the medication I was on could possibly be causing my restless leg syndrome and backache. I went off the medication and I no longer have restless legs or backache. I am so thankful for his advice. In our recent follow up, we discussed my medication and he again changed my medication so I will be able to sleep at night. He is a wonderful doctor and I so appreciate him!

Love my doctor. He is very thorough.

Still no care in listening to what I KNOW work's and has worked for YEARS but keep getting the run around and offered different Rx with crazy, unwanted side-effects so dk the difference in one Rx that works and getting prescribed a different Rx-it doesn't make any sense to me. Waste of time, effort, energy, fuel, & wear on my car driving an hour to get there

Dr. Tarpara diagnosed my disease after I suffered for 5 years trying to get a diagnosis elsewhere. (Insurance denied my ability to be seen there initially.) I still have the disease but am receiving treatment.
