Traumatic, degrading, and heartbreaking. I understand my situation is complex, and I'm not asking for a miracle. I do however would like collaboration, and do not feel safe with staff that minimizes conditions without listening, testing, and labs. She was willing to offer trying meds without knowing the cause of the migraines, and seemed unwilling to provide testing or answers. She tried to justify it by saying something about Western medicine consist of meds only approach, and I had to beg for testing. Also limited my symptoms to lupus, even though I was referring to issues like nervous system, brain, spine, and how it contributes to the migraines and how my neurological concerns. I tried to explain it's systematic, and we must consider how this effects and communicate with other systems in order to have an effective treatment plan. The constant interruptions and trying to diagnose me on standardized information instead individualized care is very dangerous for patients like myself. I have already suffered so much due to medical personal guessing, and pushing unnecessary meds. I understand that other specialists are needed, and I'm only asking that they consider testing in finding the root instead of treating symptoms for migraines that has been unresolved by many. Please see the interaction if you can. I would love to speak to someone about my care. My mom was a long time 2x heart recipient of Dr. Stacy Davis with a complex medical history with Vanderbilt. This is a genetic issue across generations, and needs to be considered. Previous data, family history, and live experienced should never be ignored, and this impacts my life daily.

All of my questions were heard and discussed fully. I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts and she went over everything throughly.
