Dr. Hewlett is obviously very dedicated to his work . He shows it in what he does on behalf of his patients and in the way he provides treatment. He really cares. He listens and he demonstrates confidence in himself and his patients, something every patient dealing with a chronic condition wants and needs.

They spent a lot of time with me and explained everything very thoroughly. I feel extremely comfortable and pleased with the appointment.

Dr Hewlett treats each patient as a real person. He listens to me, keeps me informed, and tells me the options I have with my conditions (stage 4). I feel like I am NOT just a number or way for Vanderbilt to make money off of me, but an human and individual with dignity and value. - - - I will willingly wait for Dr Hewlett, even when he runs behind, as I know I will always get the best care possible. - I trust him.

Dr. Hewlett continues to provide excellent care. He is an expert in the rare disease I have and I feel very fortunate to be his patient. He explains things very well and always asks what questions we have. He is not all doom and gloom and somehow balances the right amount of 'tension' in his office visits. He is just the best.
