I would highly recommend Dr. Clair to anyone I know that need any type of heart surgery..Dr. Clair's knowledge and abilities are what makes Vanderbilt have the respect and reputation that it has earned throughout its time.

Dr Clair is an amazing! Not only is he an exceptional surgeon, but he also has a wonderful caring chair side manner. Words cannot truly Express how grateful I am that I stumbled upon Dr Claire's name on a Facebook May Turner syndrome group site. Before him I had intense pain everyday and most days it was at a level 9 or 10. I dealt with this for 7 yrs and had previously had 6 failed surgeries done by surgeons in my home state of Indiana. Everyday it was a battle to function mentally because the pain was so intense. It affected my ability to work proficiently and enjoy life. I couldn't do anything I enjoyed and sank into depression. BUT then I found Dr Clair 8.5 yrs ago when he was at Palmetto Health in South Carolina AND he changed my life. Thinking about how much he helped me still brings tears to my eyes. The quality of my life is amazing now! I followed Dr Clair to Vanderbilt and will follow him anywhere. I truly owe this man my life! Thank you Dr Clair!
