I feel lucky to have found a physician that is so amazing. The time spent, the information provided and her knowledge of my conditions far exceeds expectations.

Dr. Basher explains everything in a calm, knowledgeable manner. And a good thing that I noticed this time is that she repeated and re-summarized things, which means that it all got into my (now aging) head twice, that I had another opportunity for questions, and that, when I read the summary notes, I could say to myself, yes, I get that. Dr, Basher is a wonderful doctor.

I was very disappointed in Dr Basher on several levels she entered telling me her name went directly to the computer and asked why I was there today I told her my Vanderbilt pulmonologist was concerned that the Propranolol I was taking for pvc's was listening the effect of my asthma medicine he told me to stop it and see a cardiologist to have it replaced Dr Basher said the pulmonologist was wrong she's saw nothing in my medicines that would be a problem I also mentioned that I become a little winded when doing an activity like vacuuming or putting away groceries she said that was not a heart problem and I needed to go back to the pulmonologist she said she ordered a stress test and a two-day Holter monitor I asked her when I would come back she said if the test didn't show anything I didn't need to come back I told her that my previous cardiologist was Dr Eli Haddad who did work at Vandy but had moved to St Thomas had me come back once a year you don't need to do that she said I was so disappointed that she treated what I said about my pulmonologist being wrong I think a better way would have been for her to say she would contact him and discuss it I absolutely hate when I get caught between two Physicians I will not go back to see Dr basher I will choose a different doctor in Vandy Cardiology.
