Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an evidenced-based intervention using the ancient practice of mindfulness being present for and paying attention to your thoughts, body and emotions. MBSR uses meditation and yoga to encourage present-moment awareness, deep relaxation and gentle movement.

MBSR teaches you to consciously take charge of your own stress, illness and the challenges and demands of everyday life. It has proven effective for helping with stress, pain and chronic illness.

Insurance does not cover this MBSR course. Your out-of-pocket expenses may be reimbursable through a health savings account or flexible spending account.
