Dr Walker had deplorable bed side manner. She never completed an assessment, sat far away in the room, and entered with an attitude that she clearly had a plan for my care prior to speaking with me. She asks minimal meaningful questions. Her planned responses were so demeaning that I left in tears. I worked at Vanderbilt for 15 years and was proud of the care we provided. Yesterday I was ashamed of the lack of care. It lacked compassion, empathy, and most importantly did not include the patient in her care. I was fine with the fact that her answers weren't what I expected, but her delivery was unacceptable. After this experience I will no longer be coming to Vanderbilt for my Gyn care.
