I came in worse and worried; as usual, Dr. Tran's diagnostic acumen and clinical judgment were on full display, her manner reassuring, her remedy decisive. I left reassured, hopeful, confident; sure enough, I'm getting better.

Dr.Tran listened to my concerns about steroids and explained that it would not hurt current lens (i have had cataract surgery)

This provider made me feel like she was an extremely important person, and that I was not a tough enough patient to even be in her clinic. She asked who and how I made the appointment. There was no way I could have known this. She said my left eye had changed by looking at the technicians workup. She did not give me a prescription and told me to go to an optomotrist. I felt very small.

Again, I work at VUMC internal medicine and have plenty of patients that respect Dr. Tran and I got to personally see why. She did extra testing to see if scopolamine patches were the culprit to my vision instead of just assuming. I appreciate that extra care and time she spent on that. This was a second opinion (1st outside of VUMC) and felt I was treated much better with less large ego involved. I felt safe and comfortable to ask all questions. Thank you Dr Tran and team!
