Ryan T. Merrell MD

Dr Merrell is a good down to earth doctor. But I have MRIs done every 6 months to check on my dormant brain cancer status. My former doctor at VH would test my reflexes, eyes, and a few other things and then go over my MRI and show nothing had changed. When Dr Merrell comes in the room he logs in the PC and pulls up the MRI then says everything looks good. Doesn't point anything out unless we ask. He is a good doctor but I just wish he would give us a little more detail each visit and not make us have to request it. Again, I like him and he is very knowledgeable and nice, just not informative unless you ask.

I was seen first by a resident. She did a very thorough exam. Then the doctor came in. He was unable to pinpoint my problem, but it wasn't for lack of trying.

Dr. Merrell is excellent! He's a great communicator and answered all of my questions and gave me the information I need about my health situation.

I started my care with Dr. Motts, who was very thorough, warm and seemed genuinely concerned about my care. It pains me to say I can't say the same for Dr. Merell.

Dr. Merrell has such a sweet personality. He takes his time in answering my questions in an understanding way.

Dr Merrell is top notch that I feel very lucky to have.
