This was my first time meeting Dr McAbee. I needed to see a doctor at TVC for valet parking. I had been seeing a PA online for several years but was unable to walk from East garage to Medical Arts building. The PA was very good, just needed a change. I have complex GI problems and Dr McAbee took a detailed history. She prescribed a new medication but they are still trying to get my insurance to approve it. Scheduled two procedures with her too. She seemed very interested in helping me.

I arrived early and roomed straightaway. Dr stuck her head in and said 1 pt was ahead of me then she'd be in. I was seen at Omar or a smidge before appt time

She is one of the best physicians I have ever seen. I would highly recommend. I feel like she really cares about me and my health.

Dr. McAbee is one of VUMC's very best! Truly listens and actually remembers me when I come in annually. That is rare these days. Always professional, caring and partners with me on my care plan.

Dr McAbee listens to my concerns and has always been an an advocate for my care. I believe she has my best interests in mind and strives to do whatever she can to improve my health.

Also MD didn't spend much time or really assist with my issue. Didn't provide time for my questions. Still do not feel informed of my situation. Just another prescription thrown at it and another referral. This was my second opinion on my issue. Frustrating to not have the care and concern shown toward you. Barely listened when given history. Also - no significant chart review from provider.
