Dr Khan is exceptional on all fronts. When I met him, he helped me understand the scope of what I was dealing with. From the problem I had with fistulas, to the surgery options, the likelihood of healing, and the time it would take for all of this to happen. He kept my expectations real. Dr Khan is an excellent communicator. He explained each surgery I needed in detail before I had it. He even did drawings for me a couple times to help me understand what he would be doing. My case was complex and severe and if you have something like that, this is the Colorectal Surgeon you want. Remember these things take time and patience and you won't heal overnight. It may take multiple surgeries and multiple years. What he did for me was life changing and I'm incredibly grateful I found such a great doctor.

Great communication and answering any concerns I had

Dr. Khan is everything you would want in a provider. He explains options, risks of treatment, risks of not doing treatment, extent of surgery, length of convalescence, and preparation for surgery. I left feeling fully informed and confident that this surgery is my best option.

My 1st visit, and 2nd scheduled visit did not go well with Dr Khan. This visit went much better. Before I recommend him to someone, I'll wait and see after the entire process.

Dr didn't want to do the surgery, said he wasn't familiar with it and just brushed me off during appointment. He didn't seem to care about my issues.
