Dr. Hoover did not display passion with my concerns of treatment and the pain I deal with on a daily. No empathy basically out of options in trying to help me and with submitting PA it was stated of only doing it once unwillingly to resubmit PA due to being months or considering appealing. I was told that will not happen. I was made to feel as if there's no hope in getting the best care possible with the pain I deal with on a daily sometimes extremely unbearable and it interferes with quality of life and working. Very poor bed manners.

She was very rushed and I believe that contributed to a significant mistake in this visit. This was supposed to be a six week visit because I had recently cut down for monthly visits to every six weeks visits with a cut back in medication as well. She extended my medication refill for two weeks without telling me about it and put off the next visit for two months as well. That has now resulted in me running out of medication and I am extremely uncomfortable. I have a surgical consult this coming week but in the meantime, I have no pain meds. I I did not know that my pain medication refill had been extended until October 3 until after I'd already left the premises. I had another appointment immediately after that appointment and another location so I was not able to go to the pharmacy as usual. When I did not get a text message from the pharmacy telling me that my prescription was ready, I called in the next morning and was told that I could not refill my medication until October 3. I put in a call to the clinic and asked to be called after I put in a message to my provider explaining what it happened. I never got a callback from my provider or the clinic. And the message that I got was after hours on Friday. The message basically said since this involves a pain med you have to come back in. Please call the desk for an appointment.
