I'm very fortunate that Dr. Hock has been my Doctor for over 10 years. He really cares about me and my health and takes time to ask questions about my health and has a genuine concern about how I'm doing. He has also referred me to the best of the other Doctors at Vanderbilt for my other conditions. I'll never be able to say enough great things about Dr. Hock, only that I'm fortunate to be his patient. He's a class act and genuinely cares about how I'm doing.

I have been with Dr. Richard Hock for exactly 30 years. He is so wonderful! I can see that he has to balance Vanderbilt's desire for him to see many more patients In a day than he is comfortable seeing in one day. He is generous and gracious one on one. He never makes me feel rushed or like he doesn't have time for me. The only reason I waited for 10 minutes before he came into the exam room today was because I know he was giving the patient before me the very same courtesy. I am concerned about when he decides to retire because he has been such an excellent doctor for me, my husband, my brother-in-law, and anyone else that I have referred to him over these many years. And I have referred many people to Dr. Richard Hock!I am eternally grateful for Dr. Hock!! As a therapist, I regularly hear people struggling to find a good doctor and being willing to stay with a doctor long-term. So I feel very fortunate.
