As I mentioned, I think the doctor should know that people who have dementia or Alzheimer's don't always know what happens when they are in an episode. It is hard for caregivers and family to have these discussions in front of the patient without scaring them- you should NEVER question their reality! It's as if this doctor does not understand that.
