Dr Gallagher and her resident were both well informed and took the time to explain my options. I especially appreciated Dr Gallagher's innovative approach to a complicated problem. It is clear she takes the time to network, know the non-surgical options as well as the risk to reward variables for the surgery options. The ability to imagine the multiple variables outside of my foot and ankle and recognize the importance of taking the rest of my circumstances into account was exceptional.

Dr. Gallagher is excellent. She knows her stuff. She doesn't hurry me and gives me time to ask questions and explains everything to me.

Dr. Gallagher did an excellent job on major surgery on my ankle 6 years ago. Have had no problems, but needed a follow up appointment. Everything turned out to be great. She was very interested in my progress and very nice to talk to!

Two different orthopedic doctors have told me I have a leg discrepancy of about an inch, but no one ever measured it. I wanted to measure it and see if I needed any treatment because I definitely have an odd walk that stresses my knees and back as a result of it.I know a bunch of people think they have an asymmetry because some chiropractor or yoga instructor told them, but that wasn't me. And she knew that. When my asymmetry turned out to only be a tad above half an inch, I felt she treated me like one of those people. She really did not offer much explanation for the significant symptoms I have that would align with a larger asymmetry, and suggested the inch difference I have in calf circumference was either the result of significant weight loss or lymphedema. She just did not seem to hear me the multiple times I told her the calf difference has been there since my late teens and prior to significant weight gain. She told me I might have some scoliosis or hip tilt causing the rest of the height difference when standing on left leg v right, but did not do anything to check that. She did not watch me walk and validate that I have a swing to my walk that would stress my knees and back. I mostly came to get it measured. She did that, so that's good. But, after a measurement that showed It not too far outside the norm, I kind of got a sense of disdain from her when I had continued symptom-based questions.
