I am very satisfied with all Vanderbilt staff and Dr has done for me

I did not feel like there was any focus on ideas of what my pain might be coming from, only treating the symptoms. I wasn't asked questions on the type of pain I was having or the exact location of my pain. I received a vaginal exam, but not a lower abdomen exam. The line of questioning was only focused on whether or not I was pregnant and when I wasn't, I was recommended to have an intravaginal ultrasound appointment again which I've had before for similar pain and was normal. I said this, and my only other option given was to monitor symptoms when I had active, abnormal pain for over a week and vomiting. There was no other advice given on what it could be or other steps to take to find out. I don't want this to reflect specifically on this care provider, but all of my appointments here have left me frustrated and still in pain with no answers. The only action that has been taken is to put me on a different birth control several times which obviously has not worked. I have mot been referred to a specialist or given any other info on possible routes for what conditions may be causing my pelvic pain.

I was scheduled with her because my main doctor was out of office, and I loved her. If I wasn't at the end of my pregnancy, I'd ask for her again

I was very impressed with how thorough Elaina was. She communicated very well and seemed to me to be an exceptional ob-gyn NP.
