At Vanderbilt University Medical Center, our physical and occupational therapists offer personalized, one-on-one care to help you recover after an orthopedic injury or surgery. We offer outpatient physical therapy, hand (occupational) therapy and medical fitness programs, so you can return to your active, healthy life.

Our certified athletic trainers provide onsite care for sporting events at a number of Middle Tennessee high schools and youth leagues. Our athletic trainers work closely with our doctors to ensure young athletes receive the care they need to safely return to play.
  • A dedicated orthopedic fitness center. The Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Fitness Center offers 10,000 square feet of fitness equipment and multi-use space. Our fitness center staff collaborates with physical therapists, occupational therapists, certified athletic trainers and orthopedic doctors to personalize your fitness plan, so you can get back to your daily activities.
  • Convenient locations. We offer physical and occupational therapy at multiple locations, so you can find quality care near your home, school or office. If your appointment is scheduled at our Nashville location, we offer free valet parking for your convenience.
