Current Visitor Policies at Vanderbilt Hospitals and Clinics

At All Locations

Many of our patients have serious health conditions that make infectious diseases like COVID and the flu more dangerous for them. That's why we require masks in our hospitals and clinics.

Likewise, please don't visit a patient or accompany them to an appointment or procedure if you have a fever or other symptoms of illness.

Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer often while in our hospitals or clinics, and when you enter or leave a patient's room.

Visitor policies may change from time to time and may differ among our seven hospitals and hundreds of clinic locations. Please discuss visiting hours and other details with hospital staff.
