About Tad Yoneyama
Dr. Yoneyama is an internist and pediatrician at Vanderbilt Health. He joined Vanderbilt Executive Wellness and Concierge Medicine in January 2026. Dr. Yoneyama earned his undergraduate degree and was a varsity athlete in saber fencing at Duke University, and he received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 1998. He has dual board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Yoneyama co-founded Grassland Family Care Center, which later became a branch of Heritage Medical Associates in Williamson County, where he practiced for over 25 years. As a community physician, he was an adjunct VUMC faculty member from 1998 until his formal return to VUMC in 2026, coinciding with the opening of the Executive Wellness and Concierge Medicine Williamson County practice location.
