Brandi L. Carter MSN

Dr Brandi was so friendly but also very competent and knowledgeable. She answered my questions, explained things I was confused about, and made me feel like everything I brought up was totally normal and common. She was also very clear about everything she was going to do before she did it so I never felt surprised, unsure, or uncomfortable.

As I was waiting in the room, I overheard the NP that I saw today ask the MA why I was here and the MA said for hormone levels to be checks and the FNP let out an exaggerated sigh of annoyance/frustration which led me to feel like I was causing an inconvenience for asking for lab work before she even came in the room. As a nurse who works with Vanderbilt and someone who is pursing my FNP I am very upset with the care I was received today and would never recommend this provider to another person.

Brandi is like a caring mother with me and I imagine all her patients. She prioritizes them all but somehow is able to still make me feel like family. She paid great care to my issues

Poor visual contact. Did not introduced her self. Gave me the impression I was visiting the vet not a health care provider

Brandi actually listened to my issues and looked at my vulva and my cervix. She was reassuring every step of the way, explained everything she was doing and seeing, and gave me great next steps to take care of myself, including instructions that other doctors at other practices hadn't been giving me. This was the most taken care of I'd felt in a long time.

I always love seeing my provider! She really cares to get the details right and listen to my concerns when I have them!
