Allison Walker has been a wonderful resource and provider in oncology since Vanderbilt picked up my post treatment breast cancer care plan 4.5 years ago, having relocated from southern CA. I have built a trust and rapport with her which is important with patients, especially for care such as post cancer. For me, its important to have a single source/contact doctor/PA for care that you always see, instead of whomever is available on the team. Its important for me to know I'm going to see my specific care giver/doctor. I like knowing and having that relationship with my assigned care provider, its critical in the trust and comfort factors.
