I appreciate Dr Thigpen's care very much. I had such traumatizing experiences with my male pediatrician, but I feel very comfortable with Dr Thigpen. He is nothing but professional and I know he is practicing good medicine.

Dr.Thigpen is an amazing doctor. I am so grateful to have him as my OB/Gyn. He is incredibly kind. He takes the time to listen to my questions and answers them thoughtfully. His skill as an OB is superb. He did my c-section and my incision held up very well with several compliments from nursing staff at the hospital. On the day of my surgery, when the hospital tried to bump me from my surgery at the last minute and stick with me an unknown doctor, Dr. Thigpen came to my rescue and intervened because he knew I only trusted him to perform the surgery. I was so grateful that he was able to perform my C-section surgery. He pulled the baby out very quickly and she is in great health due to his skilled expert hands. I am very impressed with Dr. Thigpen and have been a patient of his for many years. I would highly recommend him.

I was very pleased with the care provided by Dr. Thigpin

It felt like dr was in a hurry. He did not want to examine me, I had to advocate for myself or else he would have cleared me without checking, even after I said I still have pain. He did not inform me what the procedure really was or warn me that it would be incredibly painful. There was no aftercare instructions or expectations of recovery to be mindful of given to me. The sympathy shown did not feel genuine.

I was grateful that the Doctor shared about his experiences with health weight loss. It helped me open up and feel like I could actually lose weight.

I do wish there had been a better explanation of next steps. As a first time mom, I do not know what I do not know. When I called the next day to set up my appointment for a dating scan and genetic testing, I had to talk to multiple offices and reschedule appointments as I found out that the genetic testing couldn't be done without the dating scan. In addition, I wish the consent papers would have been offered to me at my first appointment. I had to drive back out to the Bellevue office from Hermitage the next week just to sign consent to have genetic testing.

He is very respectful and willing to hear my concerns
