Dr. Bo Bo Tanner is one of the best physicians I have ever met. He listens, he Is knowledgeable, good at giving details and he is definitely interested in my health care, all the great qualities of an outstanding physician. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a great physician.

I have recommended Dr. Tanner to others as the best physician you'll ever find. He is knowledgeable of my whole range of issues. His treatment prevented me from having broken bones or fractures. No broken hip! Without his treatment protocol for me, I am more than grateful for him basically keeping me safe from what could have been a debilitating outcome. I'm so grateful that I was spared the possibility of being admitted to a nursing home. Dr. Tanner listens well, he's extremely observant, I always feel seen and heard. His very presence is healing. He's the perfect role model for any medical student, that is be present to your patients for they've come to you for care. I wish ALL Vanderbilt physicians were like Dr. Tanner and how he practices medicine. He's such an asset to Vanderbilt.

I cannot begin to describe the level of care Dr. Bobo Tanner provided. I knew of him from my previous doctor in New Mexico who was such a blessing to me, but Dr. Tanner's level of engagement, interaction and equal attention given to medical history and the constraints of my medical diagnosis upon possible treatments was off the charts! I felt heard, seen and known --during an initial consult, no less--to a degree I have not experienced before. That inspires tremendous confidence in him as my doctor as I could see he really GRASPED my situation and will use his outstanding think-outside-the-box abilities to address it! We ended with a GAME PLAN and a huge sense of relief as, after examining my health/family history, my situation was not as dire as others had told me. Dt T is one of the finest drs and human beings I have encountered as I have struggled over the years in a health system that operates on medical facts and formulas, unable to appropriately respond to a patient who is challengingly outside the norm. So refreshing. I am exceedingly grateful.
