When I received the exam notes (on my Vanderbilt site, I noticed some discrepancies in his notes. I believe he may not have been listening as closely as he may have thought he was.

I was not impressed. After dealing with two concerning symptoms for months, I expected to get more guidance or investigation into them. I was told that it's all due to one condition and there was nothing he could do for me until I'm no longer trying to conceive or pregnant. He said that he really would only prescribe birth control and refer me to the weight loss clinic if I wasn't trying to get pregnant. When I told him of my history and how I had already tried the things he had suggested, he didn't offer any further advice. Upon further questioning, I was able to get him to run one test but he isn't confident it will show anything and he conveyed to me that the results really won't matter to him unless they are extremely abnormal. He told me that my other concerning symptoms is nothing to worry about even though it's making me feel awful. I waited 11 months to finally see an endocrinologist and I feel like I waisted my time.
