Communication between nurses, patient, and doctor very poor only In Dr Shells department. Dr Shell did not know I had had broken elbow surgery before my visit. Liver enzymes high so the process of ordering tests began. The surgery had to have had some effect on liver enzymes temporarily.. I kept explaining.. No one acknowledged my concerns or responded to me on my health in regard to that issue. 1. A patient cannot be expected to wait 72 hrs for an answer on my health 2. The communication between all parties is terrible. Ex. Am told I need to schedule lab so I go into the office and try to schedule early. And did so. Was told by Dr Shells office that I did not have to fast. Well the lab tells me that I do so I go back to have the test at 4 and the nurse sends me a message at 4 after I have done the labs that I had better get into the lab before 4 as it closed at 4. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing and the patient is the victim of all of this.
