When the doctor walked in the room, she looked me up and down and made a face of pure disgust, then continued to give me short answers and not really examine me making me feel like because I was a larger person. I was unworthy of her time then when I asked if there's anything I should avoid to avoid further injuring my knee, she looked at me and said well it's not like you're running sprints or anything.

I have been receiving care at Vanderbilt for over 20+ years and this is by far the worse experience I've ever had. We waited for over an hour to see Dr Mooney and she spent less than 10 minutes with my daughter. I was the one trying to provide important details, but Dr Mooney didn't seem to care. She merely made a quick assessment, prescribed an NSAID pain reliever, and said see you in 6 weeks! She also made my daughter leave in more pain than she arrived in. I understand Dr Mooney needed to maneuver my daughter's hip / leg as part of her assessment but she shouldn't leave in more pain and Dr Mooney didn't seem to even acknowledge that this could be occurring.

The doctor didn't seem to know what she was doing. She told me to see an ortho doctor but not to wait a week. When they rescheduled me, the girl up front made it for the next day in Antioch. So apparently, she didn't see where it said a week. Of course, the doctor scribbled all over the yellow card turned in so she might not have seen it. I went to the Antioch office and we were late due to traffic. We were told that would be no problem buy when we got there they wouldn't see me. This doctor, as I mentioned seemed confused and wanted me to see somone else. I have two fractures In my ankle and she wasn't sure what to do??? I am now going to the Mt. Juliet office on Monday to find out what to do. The only thing the doctor did make clear was to stay off the foot.I will not ever see her again and will not recommend her to anyone.

Sadly this provider was the rudest I have encountered at Vanderbilt. Didn't introduce herself. Wasn't kind, honestly seemed annoyed that I was even there. Seemed to shame me for seeking treatment after being in pain for only 3 days.

I didn't feel like she was hearing me out about how the injury had occurred and progressively gotten worse. It felt like she had already come to a conclusion and regardless of what I needed to tell her the verdict wasn't going to change.

I've never had an experience like we did with a doctor today. She was very rude. Did not address my concerns. Will never recommend this doctor
