Dr. Mawn was extremely patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional.

First I was seen by a Fellow who took a thorough history and exam. Then, Dr. Mawn was great! Pleasant attitude, listened attentively, asked questions and expressed her impressions during the various parts of her exam, as well as the other tests and imaging the previous technicians had completed for her.

Dr. Mawn is beyond doubt the most informed, attentive, and committed medical professional I have ever met. For both of my visits she was in the room for an hour or more, explaining my condition, diagnosis, and options. This is a first in my 70 years. Simply put, I am her biggest fan.

Dr. Mawn is great! She seems very personally concerned about my eye condition and is very positive about trying to find the best solution. She is super friendly and has a great personality. Also she is very intelligent and very experienced. I really enjoy seeing her even though it's because of eye issues. I feel like she treats me like I'm her only patient. Dr. Mawn is wonderful as well as her team.

Dr. Mawn is very compassionate, informative & kind. She helps you feel like an individual & not just one of the assembly line. She isn't robotic like some providers at Vanderbilt who I have chosen to no longer see.
