Care provider did not think for herself at this visit, she quickly read previous notes from the provider I came from, and recommended the same. I came to Vanderbilt out of desperation for help, and this provider pushed me through her day by just glancing at my last providers opinion. She has delayed my treatment saying another scan is needed before we can proceed, when a scan was done in September, along with the ability to do another scan now. I want this cancer out of my body and have expressed this concern with her. At first I was ignored with my concern. Then with a follow up question about where I want to receive injections, I expressed my concern again and the doctor agreed to move up my scan a few days however keeping our follow up appointment still at that later date. This is not proactive treatment. This is allowing the potential for additional spread. This is a delay of treatment which is a significant issue. I am on a search for a different oncologist who will help me versus push me off for her own agenda.
