Ms. Greer was absolutely amazing. She listened to all of my concerns without judgement and truly cared. She made a plan for me that will actually be feasible.

Provider didn't display much passion or concern. I felt that she was dismissive and just wanted to get me in and out.

Despite my initial poor experience with the nurse Jayla and Ashley were fantastic. They helped get my nerves down, listened to my concerns, and when I was willing to risk not having enough lidocaine in me for the procedure they made sure that I knew it wasn't a bother to get an additional dose. They were both delightful.

I am so awestruck by the care I received. It was affirming, culturally-responsive, trauma-informed, and I can tell that this provider is always researching and continuing education to stay knowledgeable about the most relevant treatments. I was sobbing simply from truly feeling heard and validated. I still cannot believe how quickly my needs were addressed but I am blessed yet again to be in the Vanderbilt network and to receive such quality care. Post-covid helping professions lost a lot of caring individuals due to burnout, misalignment, apathy, and compassion-fatigue. For this reason, it is so important that I highlight individuals who show up with a warm, calm presence and make me feel seen, heard, and known.

I didn't really feel like I was treated like a person. I felt more like I was treated as a checklist to review. It was frustrating that I had to share my sexual orientation twice, first with the MA, and then with the NP, when that was clearly documented in my chart. I was asked if I was interested in learning more about birth control because the NP assumed I was sexually active with men and didn't look at what the MA had noted down. It made me feel ignored and like I had to come out twice, both times with the providers' backs to me.
