Dr Genkins made several attempts to get in touch with me to arrange our Telehealth after the ice storm. He is kind, a great listener and professional . The absolute best doctor ever So grateful he took me as a patient!

As I have said in past surveys, and will reaffirm here, all variables considered, Dr. Genkins is the best physician I have ever had at Vanderbilt over 30+ years ( only close second was many years with Dr. Anderson Spickard III, (Genkins apparently received training from Spickard).

Dr. Jenkins consistently listens to my concerns. He always includes my thoughts and desires into his action plan. It is so assuring to have a provider that wants to educate and inform his patients, and uses their desires in his treatment recommendation.

Dr Genkins is very open to anything that will help my health. He communicates well and provide thoughtful solutions and ideas to any medical concerns I have. I'm VERY pleased and feel lucky to have him as my PCP. I've had really bad PCPs in the past. Some who were just not honest with me about their own health and whatnot, so it feels really good to know I have him on my team.
